The best thing about being married to JT is that we agree on a few of the major important things in life. Well...more than a few, but I'm only going to talk about a few here so deal with it.
Major Important Thing #1: FOOD.
We love food. We love how it smells, we love how it tastes, and we love the fact that it gets to go in our bellies. Which is why the holiday season is so amazing. Food, food, food. And since this season over all others calls for both of us to do our parts (him with his amazing cooking skills and me with my delicious baking skills) we get to sample each other's delicious work. Yummy!
Major Important Thing #2: Grocery Shopping.
Because you can't make your food fabulous without the fabulous ingredients of course. Which is why if you ever catch us grocery shopping where we're actually shopping for something specific we're making you will hear us debating heavily over which brand has a better flavor and smell and do you think we could get the one we like best at the other store?
Major Important Thing #3: REAL Trees.
We walked into church today to find ourselves blessed with the best smell in the whole wide world...that of a real Christmas tree. Such a nice surprise on a day we weren't fond of waking up on (chore day, you see). Thoughts of stinky laundry and dirty dishes melted away when we smelled that tree. And since it was next to the doors going into the...the...the word for the room where you actually hear the sermon...um...anyway, they were next to those doors. So we had to pass that *insert every good word you can think of here* tree TWICE. Mmmmmmmmm.
Life is good when you get down to the basics.
