This week has been a little insane. I've been jumpstarting a fund-raiser over on Goodreads that's been a little more chaotic than I expected. JT has had early morning conference calls, which means he's working the second his alarm goes off. And Truffle has been hit with a case of the Terrible Twos. I fear she's beginning to be teething right now. She's definitely been chewing a lot more than usual. Not to mention her ridiculous rebellion lately. Today alone she has been in the closet, on the tables (she NEVER goes on the tables), and attempted to once again eat the paint off the walls.
For the most part, our pictures are lame this week. With JT being busy and us both saying "Truffle, no!" every other sentence there hasn't been much room for awesomeness. But fear not! For this weekend, which really is a three day weekend for JT (!!!) we have plans! Oh yes, plans to awe and amaze you!
Okay...not really. We're going shopping and possibly on a coffee date. That's about it. But we have some ideas of things we'd like to take pictures of (including using the photo booth at the mall) so hopefully y'all won't give up on us while winter is still in full swing.

1/7/12 - Family portrait! Got to check that off our 2012 kick-off list. Yeah, Truffle's blurry. But when you need to snap the picture quickly before she realizes what's going on there's not much time to focus. Besides, we'll get more I'm sure.
Speaking of focusing on Truffle, I FINALLY got some good shots of her playing in the curtains this week. She was awfully suspicious of me though.
1/8/12 - Be honest: would you not make that same face if you saw your husband acting that crazy? Seriously? Yeah, that's what I thought.
1/9/12 - Making faces at Truffle. So much fun!
Since she can't make faces back at us without a toy she decides to peek and be a creeper instead.
1/10/12 - Showing off our battle wounds. Which were nothing then compared to how they are now. JT's arm looks like a chainsaw attacked him.
And this is why. It was this exact moment (and a few minutes before and after) that caused JT to look like he'd be in a bad weed-whacking accident. Such a tiny creature, such sharp little talons and daggers!
But she's so cute when she gets her daddy time. I think that's why JT forgives her so easily ;-)
And then when the cat isn't around, instead of looking cute, we just look bizarre. Yay us!
1/11/12 - Quick shot before being Truffle bombed.
What did I tell you? Good shots this week, right? She loves watching what's going on in the world.
It's just so darn interesting out there! Except when the leaf blower guys come. Not so interesting then.
1/12/12 - JT was SUPPOSED to not have to go to work until 3 but duty called and he had to head off to work earlier than planned. But at least we got to take a picture during the day for once. Normally he's gone before the sun is up and back once the sun comes down. This was a nice change.
I don't know if it was JT's schedule being thrown off or what but Truffle was being such a little monster! She seems to think that claws and metal get along. You have no idea how many times she's slipped off the chairs in the past few days. This was her way of getting JT's attention, letting him know that she knew he was cooking salmon and she expected full princess privileges of receiving the yumminess.
1/13/12 - This was from today, about an hour before posting. She loves that crocodile! And making funny faces while attacking the crocodile.
