Can you believe we're halfway through our Project 365: Operation Us? Crazy! We've documented 6 months of our lives together, (almost) every single day!
Man, you must be sick of seeing our faces.
This week was full of winter festivities. Christmas party for JT's work, rearranging the living room in preparation for...well honestly, it's not to prepare for anything. We were just sick of the living room feeling so tiny. Then JT got sick. We made molasses cookies and a list of things we want to do in January, February, and March (1. So you guys will have something fun to look at and 2. because we're really bored and need some spice in our lives). We've gone out to see friends twice this week, once because the boys "desperately" needed some DnD time and again because Casey and Josh came back from Brazil, thus needing to hear all about their trip. Last night we started making buttercream truffles (which will be finished tonight) in honor of getting our kitty, Truffle, after Christmas. Apparently she was spayed last week and is doing great right now. Really hope she's starting to come out of her shell. If not, we'll give her plenty of love and security so that she can when she comes home. So excited!

12/16/11 - After JT's work party. In which many lottery tickets were handed out and I think only one person won anything. That person was not us. Sigh.

12/17/11 - The living room! It has space in it! And we finally got rid of the box full of packing peanuts (the white stuff in the paper bags behind us). Now we have room for a coffee table and coat rack!
12/19/11- JT is struck with the plague! No. Joking. JOKING! Please don't call HAZMAT on us. He got sent home from work because he used an entire box of Kleenex in three hours. Yeaaaaaah...poor little sicky.
12/20/11 - JT bounced back to health quickly and we finalized our 2012 Kick-Off list! If you click on the picture to enlarge it you can see all the fun things we want to get pictures of at the beginning of the year. Don't ask me why we're making those faces. I know I wasn't sneezing but other than that I have no clue what's going on here.
12/21/11 - Another long night of hanging out with friends. And look! You can see our snowflakes! Even though the Christmas lights aren't on. Pretend it's festive anyway!
12/22/11 - This was after making truffles. I think we consumed a wee bit too much buttercream frosting (and, for me, possibly too much vanilla extract) because all of our photos are like this. Which is strange, even for us. Don't be hatin!
We have a very long weekend ahead of us! We have 3 (!!!!) homes to go to tomorrow. Grandma's, in-laws', Uda's. Christmas day we'll leave Uda's to go to Dad's. Good thing JT has Monday off. We're gonna need to recover after all that! Especially since we'll be getting Truffle on either Tuesday or Wednesday!! EEEEEE!!!
Yes, I just squealed on my own blog. Deal with it.
