Just One More Step...

Today is a day of patience. JT had a very important first interview on Friday for a store manager training position. And today we will find out if he went to the second round of interviews or not. Hard for me because I may not find out until he comes home from work. Hard for him because he REALLY wants this position and it's his best shot of going over there directly promoted. We're praying like crazy. Every other minute crazy.

The good news is we've both been busy, and therefore not acting like stress monkies. Monkeys? Hmmm. Besides JT working today and me beginning to pack up the craft room this weekend was a whirlwind. We spent Saturday up at our friend's house celebrating the graduation of two of our dear friends. That was pure fun! We spent the entire day outside, playing badmitton and volleyball, eating barbeque, chatting with friends and family of the grads. It was fantastic :-D JT got burned to the point of looking like a boiled crab (and he still looks good, darn him!). I now have a very sprained thumb due to loving volleyball more than I love my personal safety. It was a day well spent, the epitome of summer.

And yesterday we took the day off. Which doesn't sound very busy, but it was needed. Even with laundry and a driving lesson (I'm figuring out how to drive a stick! JT's vehicle is in one piece!) we still had a very restful day. That was nice and much needed. Because now it's back to the grindstone. Once JT gets a position and moving date finalized it's go, go, go! Whether we're ready or not. We're choosing to be ready instead ;-)

Whether he gets this position or not (here's hoping he does though!) it's not going to be long now. There's some other positions he applied for that he has experience in and should get no problem. Just needs to wait for those positions to close to hear back about them. Overall, it's looking like we have six weeks, TOPS. I'm betting we have more like three to four since the next quarter is beginning soon and if they can have someone when the quarter starts they're going to make sure that happens rather than wait. So you may very well be hearing about our moving adventure very soon! Just as soon as we hear about that last step, the job.
