Sorry for not updating sooner. We got to our first stop really late, the two hotels super late, and last night we got in early but the Wi-fi didn't work. So today is the day for photos and info!
All these photos are from my phone. My computer isn't compatible with my camera software so the good photos will have to wait a week or so but here's a little preview of the trip.

JT driving through the Oregon badlands.
Truffle ever so gracefully sleeping. Not panting or anything. Just...sleeping. Gracefully.
Between Oregon and Idaho.
Again with the graceful. This time sleeping with squished face. Still don't know why she went there to sleep.
Idaho has a ton of wind turbines. Like, EVERYWHERE. And very few of them are actually turning.
Evening in Idaho. Within an hour of us getting into Wyoming/it getting dark we had a lightening storm surrounding us. Hard to believe with that sky.
Near a rest stop in Wyoming. JT's family has a Jack Russell named...Jack (not their fault, he came with that name). And Jack is a very happy dog. Thus, this is his road.
At that rest stop. Aren't they cute?
Nebraska!
Land of construction! We thought we saw a ton of turbines in Idaho, well Nebraska has more construction than Idaho has turbines. I didn't think that was possible. I was wrong. We spent at least two hours of our drive that day in road work areas.
JT laughing at something ridiculous in Nebraska. What it was, I don't remember. There were a lot of ridiculous moments.
Oregon, Missouri!
Truffle, the adorable co-pilot.
Yup, adorable.
Bridge over the Missouri River.
Sunset is so different as you go across the country. It's amazing. Plains = very few colors but very LOOOONG sunsets. East = very dark very fast.
Oh, and for the record, we're in Savannah now. YAY! We're not at our apartment though. It's not ready yet. But you'll hear more about that tomorrow :-)
