Save the Date!

JT got a work date today! Which means we also have a move date. And you won't believe how soon it is.

We leave...in a little over a week. A week!

This is wild, crazy, insane, glorious, NUTS! We're going to Savannah. We really are. JT has a job that starts on the 23rd with a manager he so far likes a lot and with more men than he's worked with since Best Buy (this is a VERY good thing. I was beginning to think he was getting PMS with all his female coworkers. It's bad enough with just me PMSing, don't need him contributing anymore as well).We have an apartment that we get to live in. Whether it's ready the exact day we get there, we're not sure yet, but we also have someone down there who has opened her home to us so it's all good! We have a church already lined up to check out. We've already figured out where the restaurants we want to try are (not that we'll have the money for it) and things we want to do when we move there (learn how to go crabbing! get JT some men to go fishing with! FRESH SEAFOOD!).

This is all so incredible there are barely words coming out of my mouth. Mostly squeals. And "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH OH MY GOSH THIS IS HAPPENING!" Yeah...those have been the majority of my vocal vocabulary since I found out. Which was only an hour ago. Hopefully that means there's still hope for me to go back to normal speech.

Oh, and did I mention the reason this was delayed so long was because JT kept getting interviewed for bigger and better branches? The original branch he applied for? Very small, bonuses hit and miss. The one he got the job with? Keep losing their service managers (JT's position) because they get promoted fast and hit bonuses almost all the time. Like, so far they've hit every quarter for over a year or two.

Trying to focus on all these positives as a means to not go crazy while frantically packing, making phone calls, saying goodbye, and try to get all the stuff done that needs to get done even though I don't have JT to help me get it done. Doesn't help that JT never has Saturdays off so we haven't been able to get a lot of the bigger things done since we almost always have something going on on Sundays. No excuses now though! This will be fun...in a very sarcastic way.

But it'll all be totally worth it in the end!

And just so you know, while I may not be on Facebook during the move and for the first week after...or the few days before now that I think about it...I will be updating the blog as much as possible during that time. Chance to give more details, which is very important since I won't be able to post photos during that time. Maybe from my phone, but keep in mind my phone's camera SUCKS. So photos may or may not be great.
